Case studies

Case studies: academies that run on Wislab

Two real academies, with their numbers counted in the production database and what they use from Wislab. No mockups and no rounded-up figures: if a number isn't reliable, we leave it out.

AI, backend and data bootcamps

NIEVA

NIEVA is the academy of Mike Nieva, the founder of Wislab, and the academy Wislab grew out of. It teaches AI engineering, Python backend and data through cohort bootcamps, self-paced guides and free live workshops. It runs on its own domain, in English and Spanish, and charges for its bootcamps with its own Stripe account.

What it uses from Wislab

  • Bootcamps with dates, weeks, submissions and receipts per installment
  • Self-paced guides and learning paths
  • Free workshops with sign-up, reminders and follow-up
  • Certificates with a public verification page
  • Community forum
  • CRM and email campaigns
  • The Wislys, the AI agents that propose changes for the team to approve
  • Its own domain and the academy in English and Spanish

What the numbers don't say: Most of its 6,932 student accounts come from the platform NIEVA used before and were imported into Wislab. That is why we count separately the people who signed in over the last month.

Digital skills

Impact Click

Impact Click trains people in digital skills with programs in marketing, UX/UI design, Salesforce, data and AI. It uses Wislab with its own brand, in Spanish, on a Wislab subdomain. Enrollment is closed today: its team enrolls each student by hand and it does not sell online.

What it uses from Wislab

  • Program catalog with a page for each program
  • Courses with modules and lessons
  • Manual student enrollment
  • Certificates
  • CRM for its contacts

What the numbers don't say: Impact Click does not sell through the platform: it has no Stripe account connected and its team handles enrollments. It is a small academy that is getting started, and that is how we tell it.

How we count

We count every number in Wislab's production database, using totals only and no personal data. A course or a lesson counts if it's published; a bootcamp or program, if it shows in the academy's public catalog; an active student, if they signed in to the academy over the last 30 days; a certificate, if it's valid. We don't publish students' countries, workshop attendance or sales, because that data isn't complete yet.

NIEVA uses free workshops to get known before it sells its bootcamps. Read the free workshops guide →
