How to import modules and lessons from a ZIP
From the Academy package you upload a ZIP with one folder per module and one .md file per lesson, and add it to an existing course. You see a preview before applying; nothing is deleted and lessons arrive unpublished.
Available on: Academy, Cohorts and Enterprise. Downloading a course as a ZIP is on every package.
Step by step
Step 1: Prepare one folder per module (for example module-01-intro) and, inside it, one .md file per lesson (01-welcome.md).
Step 2: Each lesson's title comes from its first # heading or from the title field at the top of the file. If your course is in two languages, use es and en subfolders.
Step 3: Compress everything into a ZIP.
Step 4: Open the course in Products → Courses and, in the content editor, click Import content (.zip).
Step 5: Upload the file and review the preview of modules and lessons.
Step 6: Apply the import. Review the new lessons and publish them when they are ready.
Download a course
The same window has Download this course as a ZIP, in the same format. Use it as a backup or to edit offline and upload again.
Several courses at once
To create several full courses at once, Products → Courses has Import (.zip), which reads a manifest.json and a course.yaml per course. If you are coming from another platform, we help you move your courses during early access.
