How to verify your academy in Google Search Console and Bing

Step by step

   Step 1: In Google Search Console add your academy as a URL prefix property (for example https://academy.yourdomain.com) and choose the HTML tag method.

   Step 2: Copy the whole tag or just the code inside content.

   Step 3: In your dashboard go to Marketing & sales → SEO, card Verify your site with search engines, and paste it in the Google Search Console field. Save.

   Step 4: Go back to Search Console and click Verify.

   Step 5: For Bing, do the same in Bing Webmaster Tools with the meta tag option and paste the code in the Bing Webmaster Tools field.

   Step 6: Once verified, submit your sitemap: it is your academy's address followed by /sitemap.xml.

Accepted formats

You can paste the whole meta tag, just the code, or the text google-site-verification=code. If the code does not have the expected format, the field tells you before you save.
